Programmable LED Cube

Hello All,

Ken's here. It's been a long time I didn't update my blog. Yes. What's in your mind is correct. More time and effort were invested in assignments and also reports. It's expected to have never-ending work during final year of engineering studies.

I have abandoned my LED cube for more than two years. It appears in my mind ever since the beginning of this semester.

The same soldered and well-assembled twenty-seven blue LEDs are back again. In fact, my beloved mom would like to see how does it work in the dark. Here you go dear!

I would not made any discussion over the Arduino's code. That's the concept of programmable LED cube. It's open to all enthusiast's idea to make it work.

The materials used is exactly the same yet with some additional parts (Arduino Uno with some jumper wires).

Ten jumper wires. Nine anodes to digital pins. One cathode to ground.

Ribbon cable and small breadboard to ease placement.

First test.

The algorithm goes on.

Turn off your light dude !

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We'll be catching up soon in 2016...
